Renfro finished with the low round of the tournament, posting an individual score of 70 strokes.
Scott Webb, head coach of the Cincinnati State golf team, said he believes this squad has the potential to compete for a national title.
"We have had a number of great players come through our program. Josh has the talent, ability and opportunity to accomplish more than any other golfer who has worn the Cincinnati State uniform,” Webb said. “When I look at this year's team with Josh as well as Danny, Matt and Cody providing leadership, I feel really confident we can compete and win a national championship."
Webb said he was particularly encouraged by the team’s early performance during its pre-season events.
